Protest Crayon present the first night of Sherbet Quiche
On Friday the 10th February, Bristol based electropop duo Protest Crayon present a night of unrivalled and dangerously entertaining multimedia wizardry from most corners of the creative globe*. Having spent over a year in the studio sculpting a now eagerly awaited LP, the boys have finally decided to bring their music to a live stage, in the first of a regular evening of fascinating multi-media performances. Sherbet Quiche, the first of which will be hosted at Bristol’s Grain Barge, invites a smorgasbord of fun to the stage including: an unveiling of tracks from Protest Crayon’s album featuring remixes from some of the southwest’s most exciting producers, famously hilarious improvised electronic rap from the genius of Simon Panrucker, a live vocal interpretation of some of the album’s tunes from a live choir, freebies, visuals, surprise guests, viral videos, presentations, audience collaborations, more than adequate fire escape routes, plus a whole lot more that they probably haven’t thought of yet and are begrudged to commit to.

Tuesday August 16th, Nuala's Birthday, Golden Lion Bristol
I made the title the date of a gig, which is slightly not in keeping with the format of this page, but that's just the crazy kind of kerfuffles we get into all the time. We played with Dirklandish and DJ Mon last night for our friend Nuala's birthday. We had a real blast and stomped our way through the set in a frenzied stupor of glee.
